Realizing Dreams

If we had the resources to make life better for our children, we should seek to realize our dreams for them. A poor life can lead to desolation, hoplessness, crime, loss of culture, loss of identity, and in many cases, suicide.

Support the Solutions — Donate

Making donations are one of the most effective ways to help First Nation children and youth in northwestern Ontario.

Financial support provides flexibility in meeting needs and allows the Partnership to buy locally and control shipping costs, which can be up to $4.00 a pound in the remote north.

To donate by cheque,
Make cheque out to:
Tikinagan Child and Family Services (North-South Partnership)
(Charitable Organization Registration # 13000-5648-RR-0001)

Mail to:
Finance Department
Tikinagan Child and Family Services
P.O. Box 627, 63 King Street
Sioux Lookout, Ontario

Can I donate to a specific project?
Organizations can sponsor a project listed in the lists above.
Or if you have another suggestion, please use Can I help? to share your idea, and we'll let you know how it fits within community priorities.

How are donations managed?
100% of your donation goes to help children and youth. Partners cover administration costs.
Receipts for income tax purposes are provided on request for donations of more than $20.
Tikinagan Child and Family Services (charitable number 13000-5648-RR-001) administers the funds in trust through a designated Mamow Sha-way-gi-kay-win account.
If donors provide more funds for a project than are needed, the excess funds will be directed to other projects.
